ACAP Species Educational Series

The Albatross and Petrel Agreement has produced three complementary series that cover the 31 ACAP-listed species for educational purposes and in support of World Albatross Day, marked each year since 2020 on 19 June.  They are the ACAP Photo Essay series that features the photographs and experiences of researchers in their own words, the still to be completed ACAP Species Infographic series available as downloadable posters for display, and the two-page ACAP Species Summaries, illustrated by both photographs and artworks.

The three educational species complement the more detailed and referenced ACAP Species Assessments to be found under RESOURCES.  They are written in non-scientific language and are designed to be readily accessible to both school learners and the general public.  The ACAP Species Infographic and Species Summary Series are available in ACAP’s three languages of English, French and Spanish.
