Two seabird groups will travel to hold their conferences in 2009

 

Two regional seabird groups are holding conferences in their regular series in early 2009, and both are going to new countries to hold them.

The Pacific Seabird Group (www.pacificseabirdgroup.org), based in North America, will hold its 36th Annual Meeting in Hakodate, Hokkado, Japan from 23-25 February, with field trips planned either side of these dates.

The Seabird Group (www.seabirdgroup.ac.uk), based in the United Kingdom, will hold its 10th International Conference in Bruges, Belgium from 27-29 March 2009, with a post-conference excursion on the 30th. More information is available at www.vliz.be/conferences/seabirdconference2009.be.

The Agreement on the
Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels
