Folder NEGOTIATION MEETINGS

Three meetings have been held to develop the Agreement. The first was held in Canberra, Australia in June 1999, the second was held in Hobart, Australia, in July 2000 and the third and final meeting was held in Cape Town, South Africa in January / February 2001.

Folder 1st Negotiation Meeting

The first negotiation meeting was held in Canberra, Australia in June 1999 under the auspices of the Valdivia Group of Temperate Southern Hemisphere Countries on the Environment

Folder 2nd Negotiation Meeting

The second negotiation meeting was held in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia in July 2000.

Folder 3rd Negotiation Meeting

The third negotiation meeting was held in Cape Town, South Africa in January/February 2001.

The Agreement on the
Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels

ACAP is a multilateral agreement which seeks to conserve listed albatrosses, petrels and shearwaters by coordinating international activity to mitigate known threats to their populations.
