The Meeting of the Parties (MOP) is the decision-making body of the Agreement. Ordinary sessions of the MOP have to be held at intervals of not more than three years, unless the Meeting of the Parties decides otherwise.
The Sixth Session of the Meeting of the Parties (MoP6) was held in Skukuza, South Africa, from 7 to 11 May 2018.
The Fifth Session of the Meeting of the Parties (MoP5) was held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, from 4 to 8 May 2015.
The Fourth Session of the Meeting of the Parties (MoP4) was held in Lima, Peru from 23 to 27 April 2012.
The Third Meeting of the Parties (MoP3) was held in Bergen, Norway from 27 April to 1 May 2009
